RAIL IoT CONDITION MONITORING & PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE PLATFORM
Rail Project Scope & Delivery Context
The project designed and developed an IoT-based condition-monitoring solution for critical rolling-stock subsystems. Sensor data from brakes, wheels, bearings, doors, and other onboard equipment was integrated for continuous health monitoring. Data-processing and analytics modules identified abnormal operating patterns and potential component degradation, while fleet-health dashboards, alerts, and diagnostic events supported a move from scheduled to condition-based and predictive maintenance.
Technical Scope & Delivered Requirements
Rail Integration & Delivery Challenges
- Sensor feeds from brakes, wheels, bearings, doors, and other onboard equipment require integration across rolling-stock subsystem interfaces
- Continuous health monitoring depends on reliable onboard data acquisition and time-series processing
- Analytics need to surface abnormal operating patterns and potential component degradation
- Maintenance teams need fleet-level health dashboards, alerts, and diagnostic events to prioritize follow-up
